Day Three of Wixie Project:
The third day of this project was spent completing page 3 and finishing the requirements of the checklist. By this day, students were very familiar with the process of watching the screencast video then working on their Wixie lesson.
After reflecting on days 1 and 2 of this project, I decided that I needed to add one extra part to my screencast to help the students. While looking through the projects and observing the students, I noticed that they were having difficulty thinking of words to use to search for pictures and finding good results. I decided to include some examples of good words to use to search for pictures for short i and long i. This seemed to help the students who were having trouble. While the students were completing their project, I noticed a couple of them go back and re-watch that part of the video in order to get an idea for a word to search for.
