Day Two of Wixie Project:
Day two was very similar to day one. This day, the students were completing page two of their Wixie lesson. They watched the screencast video made by me which modeled the next page and explained directions, then completed the second page of their lesson focusing on "long i".

As I was reflecting on day one of this project and looking at the completed assignments from my students, I noticed a few of my students missed a couple of the requirements for the first page. I decided to add a student checklist. This way, students would be able to keep track of the requirements and make sure they include everything that was expected.
On day two, I decided to work on blending in small groups. Normally, this is something I would have to do as a whole group because of time constraints. It was great to practice and give individualized attention by doing blending in a small group instead.
